Jeffery C. Hinson Jr., M.D.

Dr. Jeffery C. Hinson Jr. is a native of Middle Georgia and has provided expert eye care to the region for years.

Dr. Hinson graduated from Georgia Southern with a B.S. in biology in 2004, then completed his M.D. at Mercer University School of Medicine in 2008. He completed an internship in general surgery at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and his ophthalmology residency at the University of South Carolina where he served as Chief Resident.

Dr. Hinson regularly conducts a variety of specialized ophthalmic services including:

• Cataract and Glaucoma Surgery
• Cataract Evaluations
• Comprehensive Eye Exams
• Diabetic Eye Disease Screenings
• Glaucoma Evaluations
• Oculoplastic Procedures

He’s a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Georgia Society of Ophthalmology, and the Bibb County Medical Society.

When he is not treating ocular diseases, Dr. Hinson enjoys watching football, hunting, and spending time with his wife Jessica and two children, JC and Anabelle. He’s a member of Northway Baptist Church.
