James I. Suit, M.D.
Dr. James I. Suit is originally from Alabama and graduated from Auburn University in 1969 before earning his M.D. from the Medical College of Georgia in 1973.
He completed a medical internship at the U.S. Air Force Medical Center at Keesler Air Force Base in Mississippi and his residency at Emory University in Atlanta.
He served for six years in the U.S. Air Force and was discharged as a Major. Dr. Suit then joined the team at Vision Eye Group and has served patients in Middle Georgia for over 30 years. He’s a clinical instructor in ophthalmic surgery at Emory University School of Medicine and a clinical associate professor at Mercer University School of Medicine.
Dr. Suit is a board-certified ophthalmologist and a member of the American Medical Association, the Medical Association of Georgia, the Bibb County Medical Association, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and the Georgia Society of Ophthalmology.
